XHeight: What is XHeight Adventure Climb?

XHeight Adventure Climb offers an opportunity for children and adults from the age of 5 years upwards the chance to experience indoor climbing with no previous experience.  There are 17 themed climbing walls and a Giants Stair Case on which to challenge yourself.  Each climbing challenge has its own auto-belay (automated safety rope system), to which the climber gets clipped on and off by a member of staff.

XHeight: Do I need to know how to climb?

No previous experience of climbing is required. Xheight is specifically designed so you can enjoy the thrill of climbing without the need for weeks of tuition or learning ropes and knots!

XHeight: Where will the instructor be?

Our fully qualified climbing instructors are always on hand to instruct, watch and offer guidance to help you conquer the climb and the Giant’s Staircase.

XHeight: How many walls can I climb during my session?

You can climb as many walls, as many times as you want during the session. You are in control of your time in Xheight.

XHeight: What happens if I can’t finish a wall or get stuck?

We have a team of qualified instructors on hand to assist.  Our safe and easy auto-belay system slowly lowers you to the ground when you let go of the wall.

Climbers will need to bring appropriate footwear, such as a clean indoor pair of trainers with soles and a good grip.  Sandals, slip-on shoes, high heels and other such shoes are not permitted under any circumstances.  Sports clothing is recommended but not compulsory, but you should wear unrestrictive clothing.

Any long hair must be tied back and any body piercing which may catch will need to be removed whilst climbing.  We have changing facilities, showers and lockers available.  All other equipment is provided at Xheight.
